Forgotten Souls

Hello!

This is Forgotten Souls, well, this is a demo of the game.

A 2D platforming game about freeing souls trapped in the caves below by a giant spider. You must make your way through to the deepest parts of the cave and confront the spider and free the souls forever, along your journey you will be troubled by many obstacles that will make the path down dangerous, overcome them and free the souls!

 I have been thinking of this idea for a while and the perfect opportunity to create it came around (A college project) so I decided I would figure out a way to get this idea of "Forgotten Souls" out and this is the result,  my original scope was much bigger and the game was planned to be 3D but due to the limitations of the engine this was not possible, also considering this is a a demo/concept I didn't get to put down any of the lore that I had dreamt up for this universe so maybe there's enough content left over to create a 3D sequel with all the original features and ideas and get that Forgotten Souls dream made. I could go on for ages about all of the original ideas and concepts for Forgotten Souls but I think I will keep them and try and create the sequel.

Now I know I am not the best artist, honestly I am more of the designer/developer type but I think in this game at least the art is excusable.
